CINCINNATI PLATE SAW

Height 4", Width 72", Length 140".  This circular carbide tip plate saw is used to primarily cut steel bar stock.  A-2, D-2, S-7, 0-1.  Other grades frequently cut include Tooling Plate and H-13.

SUNSTRAND MILLING MACHINE

Height 23", Width 14", Length 120".  This 25 horsepower horizontal mill is used primarily for milling bar stock to special tolerances and converting plate remnants into saleable bar stock sizes. Edge tolerances can be obtained within .010" and squareness within .002".

SUNSTRAND C-2 MILLING MACHINE

Height 18", Width 12", Length 180",  22.5 horsepower. 

CINCINATI VERTICAL MILL

GISHOLT LATHE

The attached sheet titled "Drill Inventory For Turret Lathe" indicates our current drill diameters and lengths that our 60 horsepower lathe can handle.  Our I.D. tolerance is minus (-) 1/8", however, if closer tolerances are needed contact a Gateway Metals representative for exact maximum obtainable dimensions.  The largest O.D. the machine is capable in handling is 21".

Swing 72", Height 27".  This 200 horsepower 66" rotary surface grinder is used primarily for grinding all grades in our Machine Service Department.

GIDDINGS & LEWIS BORING MILL

Spindle Travel 30", Table Size 36" X 72", Vertical Spindle Travel 72", Cross Travel 60". This machine gives us the flexibility to mill large blocks to tolerances such as +/- .002". It is also used for heavy metal removal.  This machine is a large player in our retainer program.
